Bio:

Justin Melillo is the CEO and co-founder of Mona, the metaverse world-building platform built for creators, by creators. Justin is a lifelong artist and creative.

For the past twelve years, his professional life – alongside Mona – has been defined by creative roles for animated films and immersive augmented reality and virtual reality experiences.

He developed AR lenses that have been viewed over 100 million times across Instagram, Facebook, and Snapchat. His clients included Drake, CharliXCX, EA, MAC Cosmetics, and more.

Before Mona, Justin worked at Magic Leap, where he worked on a team pioneering the creation of a digital human AI and volumetric capture performances for spatial computing.

For DreamWorks Animation, he assisted the directors and producers of The Croods 2 and Abominable.

Justin has a Bachelor’s degree (with Honors) in Computer Art, Computer Animation, and Visual Effects from the School of Visual Arts.
