Bio:
Karen Gibson-Hylands has over 25 years’ senior management experience in quality assurance and service improvement in business education.
Working from home in a remote area of the Scottish Highlands, Karen spends her spare time supporting educational events and building virtual worlds on the immersive social platform, AltspaceVR, and is also learning Scottish Gaelic.

The panellists are chapter authors in a newly edited book collection on Immersive Education: Designing for Learning.
We aim to inspire and provoke discussion around immersive education challenges and possibilities, including accessibility, safety, sustainability, community, and shifting learning into the global classroom.
