Abstract:

The intrinsic contract of freedom granted to our sense of self is a key contributor to the overall enthusiasm within our technological transition into Web 3.0 for most people.

As we converge towards transmedia and beyond, the commodification assets, access, and authority are precursors to this unprecedented shift into a new state of self-awareness of who we are, what comprises our relationships with others, and the legacies of our pasts.

Historically, systems that are based on our human constructs of economics, race, and biology traditionally have been complicit in fostering biases, classism, and the marginalization of many participants that directly impact their quality of life and generational opportunities for success.

Will the technologies of tomorrow enable us to overcome these systemic barriers to agency for underrepresented contributors or do we foresee a digital rendition of societal constraints being implemented to anatomize our humanity yet again?

We are honored to Gather an unprecedented group of industry experts, all actionably passionate and uniquely qualified as the preeminent leaders in developing equitable outcomes in technology implementation within their respective fields.

Please join us as we share a robust and insightful dialogue identifying the root causes and utilizing our 7 Standards to chart a path forward together to achieve this critical point of equitable existence in the Metaverse.

Abstract:

Join Raulvin Coke & Shea Richburg-Coke Co-founders of Future Wise Group for a talk on The Future of Child Safety in XR & the need for Metaverse iQ

As with anything new, the Metaverse creates a level of uncertainty and will introduce unforeseen challenges that disrupt our current way of life and the way we engage in and outside of this new environment.

It has the opportunity to usher in a host of new situations and scenarios that our children’s young developing minds have not experienced.

During the session, the founders will discuss some of the concerns & dangers children are exposed to in the Metaverse and the impact it can have on their mental well-being.

Finally, they will introduce what they have coined as the Metaverse Intelligence Quotient or Metaverse iQ. A behavioral framework that if embraced by children, adults, and developers can help mitigate a version of the Metaverse that can be disastrous!

Abstract:

We’re gathering for a wide-ranging discussion exploring trends and future directions of metaverse/Web 3.0 experiences to foster wellbeing, social and spiritual connection, and new leadership that embodies a sense of flourishing.

What kinds of experiences can we create with extended reality that are more effective, connected, scalable, and transformative than those present in our physical world? We’ll consider guiding principles for individual and shared social experiences focusing on wellbeing, therapeutic, spiritual, and creative applications.

We’ll also address the merits of guided, instructional and self-directed experiences, as well as integrations of game design. This roundtable is an active investigation of guiding principles for creating meaningful wellness experiences and building consciousness in the metaverse.
