Independent Filmmaker, 19 Shades of Black at Canis Lupus Productions

My passion in life has always been to help people and keep the environment clean. Whether protecting the airways as a U.S. Air Marshal, or working alongside U.S. Customs/Homeland Security to prevent the unlawful trafficking in live exotic wildlife, the “public” in public servant has always come first.

As a graduate from The University of Montana, I learned early that understanding the views of others could be the key to prosperity for all. My 30-years of public service with the U.S. Department of the Interior spanned across the country from California to Montana, Wyoming, North Dakota, Texas, Illinois, Ohio, Virginia/Washington D.C., and New Jersey.

In all my travels and through all my encounters with people, whether as Refuge Manager, Wildlife Inspector, Special Agent, Computer Forensics Specialist or augmented Federal Air Marshal, the average person’s hopes and desires boil down to happiness, freedom, and fairness. Although I am no longer working as a civil servant, retiring in 2008, I continue to stress the importance of education through my work as an author, filmmaker, musician, community volunteer, founder of the non profit organization known as The Nepal Tiger Project and co-founder of the environmental think-tank, Climate Con.

I believe that education is the key to a healthy society and that the more you know, the more you realize how much you do not know.
