Bio:

CHEUNG Fai, based in Shanghai (originally from Hong Kong), is a veteran Asian artistic director, curator, producer, executive and consultant in the arts, cultural creative industry, entertainment and media.

He has more than 30 years of experience in Asia and Europe in the performing arts/ art & design/ Internet/ marketing & media, working for industry leading companies and pioneering, milestone projects.

In recent years he has been focusing on the interaction of arts and technology, from the immersive, the virtual to AI, Metaverse and Futurism.

Currently he is founder of artXmetaverse, an ongoing cross-disciplinary platform; Chief Metaverse Consultant and Academic Committee member of Modern Art Museum Shanghai (MAMSH); Futures Advisor of SOON Future Studies (global think-tank); Curator of Family Reunion, artXtech project presented by Museo Nacional de Bellas Artes, Buenos Aires (MNBA) and MAMSH; Curator of Body & Lens International ScreenDance Festival (India); Chief Editor, Frontiers of Contemporary Arts (book series) ; Chief Strategist of Beijing Artists Association; Advisor of TechDanceLab; Industry Mentor of Xian Jiaotong-Liverpool University School of Cultural Technology; Columnist of Techvangart (online artXtech media) and MixLab (metaverse community).

He is also guest professor and speaker in various media, universities and events, on metaverse and futurist topics.
