Bio:

Arun Nadarasa is the founder of “Social Prescribing Pharmacy Association” (SPPA).

He is the only pharmacist ambassador for Personalised Care Institute (PCI).

He created the first online course for “Social Prescribing for Community Pharmacy” which has over 1000 students from 84 countries via Udemy.

He was also the first pharmacist as Social Prescribing Champion for the Social Prescribing Champion Programme established by the National Academy for Social Prescribing (NASP) and NHS England & NHS Improvement (NHSE&I).

His passion for Social Prescribing came from his background as a Dance for Parkinson’s and Medical NLP practitioner.

He is also the author of “Pharmacy Movement – How To Prescribe Social And Digital Medicines” which is the first published book on the topic of Pharmacy Social Prescribing.

He is also the organiser of the world first “Pharmacy Social Prescribing Conference” (PSPC).

His articles were published in the Pharmaceutical Journal, Pharmacy Business, the International Pharmacy Journal and the Metaverse Insider.

His work enabled him to be an ambassador for Your Open Metaverse (YOM) and he is a member of Metaverse Standards Forum (MSF).

In partnership with Indian Pharmaceutical Association Students’ Forum (IPASF), he helped organise the world first Metaverse Pharmacy Hackathon.
