A few years ago I read about children as young as 9 years old committing suicide and self mutilation in refugee camps, something deep inside of me said enough, this is unacceptable.
With that began a journey to provide therapies using virtual reality and mobile phones in reaching vulnerable populations.
I am the founder of Studio Bahia, a 501c3 nonprofit that provides VR therapy, treatments, and training around the world.
Our team is composed of clinical psychologists, designers and health specialists.
Also I grew up in 10 countries and have backpacked over 80 countries and currently developing an aesthetic philosophy for worldbuilding in my PhD dissertation.
