Thought Partner / Strategist / Speechwriter / Ghostwriter
Jerry Weinstein has been a thought partner/strategist/speechwriter/ghostwriter to corporate and media influencers; university presidents; startup founders; and museum directors. His clients have included: Sunny Bates, member of the TED brain trust; Arthur Sulzberger, publisher of the New York Times; Wendell Potter, healthcare whistleblower; and Wayne Turett, the architect of Civic Hall.
For the last four years Weinstein has worked out of Civic Hall — a collaborative workspace for civic tech startups — serving as a staff ambassador, mentoring, coaching, and connecting dozens of members.
Previously, he was the Head of News & Editorial for “The End of America” (Official Selection, Sheffield Doc/Fest); acquired “Women Without Men” on behalf of IndiePix Films for U.S. distribution (Silver Lion, Cannes Film Festival); and was Associate Producer for “Tested,” a documentary on NYC’s SH-SAT standardized test.
Weinstein is co-author of “Virtual Worlds: Rewiring Your Emotional Future”; a certified mediator; and a fellow of the Royal Society of the Arts. He currently publishes FOMO, a bi-weekly newsletter straddling the intersection of civics and culture.
