Bio:
Karen Alexander, PhD, founded XRconnectED in 2017. She is an XR strategist and advisor, a community builder, an educator, and an immersive media producer.
She is a co-founder of XR Women and a member of the teams at WebXR Events and MetaVRse.
Karen advises ed tech and XR startups, helps companies and higher ed institutions adopt and implement XR, introduces artists and arts organizations to the creative possibilities of immersive technologies, and partners with community organizations to foster digital literacy.
Karen believes that technology should empower people and improve lives; her passion for XR is sparked by her belief in its potential to do just that.
