Linda L. Porter
Linda L. Porter currently serves as the Assistant Director of Assessment at Tennessee State University, where she develops and refines comprehensive assessment plans and strategies. She is instrumental in designing and implementing data collection processes, including surveys, interviews, focus groups, and observations. Linda employs both quantitative and qualitative methods to analyze assessment data accurately, providing valuable insights that drive decision-making and continuous improvement efforts within the university.

Linda’s responsibilities also extend to preparing detailed assessment reports and presentations, effectively communicating findings to stakeholders. Prior to her tenure at Tennessee State University, Linda served as Director of Imperial Child Development, where she managed staff, handled payroll and data entry, and ensured compliance with state regulations. Her leadership and problem-solving skills were evident as she trained staff to achieve productivity and professional development goals. Linda managed complex travel arrangements, organized workshops and conferences, and created efficient administrative systems. Her ability to train and mentor administrative staff has had a lasting impact on organizational efficiency and effectiveness.

Linda also studies as an AI Consultant Student with Alicia Lyttle and is an AI Superuser with Tennessee State University. She serves as Treasurer for the Hadley Park Line Dancers and is a former board member and founder (Treasurer) of the Nashville Panthers Little League Football team.

Outside of her professional endeavors, Linda is actively involved in her community. She founded and built an accredited travel agency, iTravel Global Too Inc., ghostwrote several books, and authored two books of her own: Peeling of a Peach and The Road to Positioning.
